About the Baker/Owner - Jolene
Jolene is a third-generation baker with over 10 years of baking experience. She started baking by her grandmother's side and most recently baked at a vegan bakery for 2 years. She brings her passion and experience to the treats she bakes daily and the cakes made just for your event. She focuses on taste and bakes everything from scratch.
Our Commitment to High-Quality Local Ingredients
We believe it is important to invest in the best ingredients for our customers. Often this also means getting the best local products and we are proud to server their products and name them. All of our coffee is provided by Redding Roasters in Bethel, CT. We try to offer fair-trade and organically-grown origins when possible and all of our decaf coffee and espresso is made without chemicals using the swiss water decaf method. Our teas come from Simpson & Vail, a world-class tea & spice importer right in Brookfield, CT. All of our baked goods are created from scratch in our on-site bakery. We use fresh ingredints from Marcus Dairy in Danbury, CT. We get the most amazing French-style ice cream from Buck's Ice Cream in Milford, CT. Local ingredients are just one aspect of our commitent to quality. Come see us to taste it all.
